Lemoore’s Surf Ranch will be the venue of another surfing competition in September that will feature a concert by blink-182.
The Surf Ranch Pro event will run Sept. 6-9. It will be the second professional surfing competition hosted at the artificial-wave facility that is open to the public. The first one, Blink-182 will perform Sept. 8 at the Surf Ranch in Lemoore.
The event will feature competition among 36 men and 18 women surfing professionals as well as a festival-like atmosphere with DJs, food and drink vendors, beach games and more. On Sept. 8, blink-182 will take the stage after the day’s surfing competition.
“We have played a lot of cool interesting places but nothing quite like this,” according to a statement attributed to the band. “We look forward to playing for the best of the surf community in such an epic location.”
Full event general admission packages (Friday – Sunday) start at $ 199 for adults. Daily passes are $ 99 each. VIP passes are also available at $ 499 for the full event.
